It's been a busy weekend for Excalibur reviews. Both Engadget and the::unwired have posted reviews of this hot new device. The verdict for both sites, is that the Excalibur is awesome. Over at Engadget, Boy Genius says: "the most responsive, fastest Windows Smartphone I have ever used. " And Arne from the::unwired says "all the feature richness of the Xda Cosmo makes it impressive device."

Both reviews provide lots of details on this device. If you're thinking about picking one of these up, and let's be honest, who isn't? Then you'll want to head over to both sites and give the reviews a good reading. You'll also want to check out the device comparison pictures posted on the::unwired. I'm really impressed with the size of the Excalibur. The early pictures made it look a lot bigger than it really is. :D

That is a beautiful phone. In-Hand photos always give me the best size reference (depending on the size of the hands):)

I really want one of these...but no 3G. Philadelphia just rolled out 3G last week and I'd be stupid not to buy a phone capable of handling it.

So sad I'd like to cry....until the 3G Smartphones start rolling out, that is!

I agree!! What is it with HTC and their 'HOT' non-3G devices for Cingular...... T-Mobile- sure but not for Cingular....Not at this point in their 3G deployment.

Does anyone know if we are supposed to see this phone in the States by Christmas?

No timeframes are suggested yet, but it looks like T-Mobile will pick it up and there's hope that it will be out before the end of the year.

Wow! I never thought it would be this thin... I mean it looks thinner than most HTC smartphones. 3G rollout here in Manila under my network [Globe] is kinda slow. I think I can still get this and use it for my main line and then use my Universal as my 3G device with a SMART prepaid SIM which has better 3G deployment and speed ATM. I really hope dopod Asia Pacific releases this soon. Dopod China has the s310 already [but no s620 yet]... I just looked at the images since my Chinese is awful :( I'm intrigued with the JOGGR thing I wonder how useful it would really be or if as Arne states I might end up using it for volume control only.

I was hoping the Excalibur was going to be thin and it looks like my wish was granted! Dang, it's about half as thin as my phone! AND I heard that this device is coming out at the beginning of October...
