Spy shots of the Smartphone code-named Jupiter have been sighted in the MyPDACafe.com forum. The photos are blurry and I couldn't find any reference to the specifications, but I am fairly positive that this device is 3G capable. The camera on the front can be used as an evidence for the 3G capability. ;-) Also, the SIM card slot looks different; not sure if the 3G phones have different SIM cards? Based on the blurry photos the unit looks stylish, especially when compared with the HTC MTeoR; this Smartphone reminds me of the i-mate SP3i styling. Meanwhile, I am wondering what happened to the Asus P305 clam-shell Smartphone. :?

It looks kind of plain. That's not a bad thing, but I don't see any new or outstanding features. Let's hope it has a powerful core. 8)

3G SIM cards (i.e. USIMs) are different from a technical point of view but look no different to regular SIMs. They're also backwardly compatible, which is nice.

Apprently O2 wasn't happy with HTC's attempts to make a consumer brand of its own and this is why they have started announcing Smartphones made by other manufacturers.

And I agree, rather plain than ugly. I'd take this over a Meteor any day. :)

I quite like the look of it :D

And the SIM card slot is no different on this device to any other.
