For those of you that are not, Shozu is a free program that would let you upload images to your Flickr from your Windows Mobile device. With the recent update to this program you are no longer limited to just photos, now you can upload videos as well, straight to YouTube! Remember, the best part about this program is it is 100% free! All of you Flickr and YouTube users might want to check this out!

I still dont understand why I'd need ShoSu.
I have a Flickr account that I email to alot.
I have a YouTube account I can email to.
Why do I need ShoZu to do this for me?
The only thing I can think of is that if you are sending to multiple places...you upload once...it sends out from there.

Again...I don't get it.

Rocco- Thanks for the positive comments about ShoZu :-)

Encece- ShoZu was designed specifically to be a lot more efficient than email and MMS as it uses our own GPRS uploader with minimal encoding overhead. Your images are sent to our server first meaning we can include features like auto-resume on dropout so you can continue to make and receive phone calls while ShoZu runs in the background. We then send your files on to the desired destination, but they are stored on our server until you delete them from your handset so you can re-send them over and over, but in effect, you've only uploaded the image one time from your phone. You can also view comments people have made on your files and reply back on certain sites too.

Thanks for your interest!

Anyone heard of these new guys called PixSense? My friend introduced me to one of the founders. At that time I was like "pixsense shozu, what's the difference. You're all the same." It seems, though, pixsense gives all that and more. And the "more" is what caught my interest because it saves me money. Pixsense also uploads using GPRS but they somehow reduce the size of the photo and video so it gets uploaded faster and it costs me less. Atleast that's the explanation Mr. Hoodbhoy (one of the founders) gave me.
I've been using pixsense regularly and am quite happy with it. My dataplan lasts me longer than it did when I was emailing myself the photos. Try it out and see for yourself. http://beta.pixsense.com

That sounds good, but PixSense doesn't support any Windows Mobile devices. Which means it's pretty much usless to everyone around here. ;)

Rocco- Thanks for the positive comments about ShoZu :-)

You're very welcome. ShoZu deserves the comments. To be honest with you though, I didn't always feel that way. When I first started using my Cingular 2125, all the image were saved to the same folder instead of being split up by date. Now with the new firmware upgrade and all the images being seperated by date, i dont have to worry about ShoZu trying to load 600+ images ;)

Now I love ShoZu :)
