The update includes some minor improvements, fixes and the device agent is now Microsoft M2M certified. However, the update it seems does not include an updated animated graphic for the product information page; as you can see it still shows the MPx200. ;-) So if you were having a problem with your current version or haven't upgraded to the 5.xx version, then I would recommend taking a look at this update. For the current owners of the 5.xx version, this is a free upgrade.

While I love the product I think the increase in price and upgrade policy ammounts to price gaudging.

Here's why.
They only follow a 8 month instead of 12 month free upgrade time period.

So even though I upgraded to 5.04 in January I'm not eligible for this minor upgrade. So I have to pay $35 bucks again? Does that make sense?

I upgrade my products religiously and I'm willing to pay, but theirs is totally unfair. So I'm keeping my 5.04 until they come out with a 6. And I'll follow my own reasonable upgrade rules where this product is concerned. I can't see shelling out 35 bucks every 8 months for this thing.
35 bucks a year yes but every 8 months no.

interesting... I see what you're looking at, and I figured that was in regards to full version upgrades. I didn't think it meant point upgrades. From what I've seen, this is a free upgrade to existing version 5 users.

I purchased version 5.04 in Jan. I installed the upgrade and my reg code doesn't work.
