HTC MTeoR Receives Updated Product Sheet!

Some of you might remember the article I posted earlier in the month (http://smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12032) about the controversial product sheet for the HTC MTeoR. Well the "Powers That Be" over at HTC were listening and have updated the product sheet with the correct information! The official response from HTC is that this is nothing more than a typo, which I believe wholeheartedly. I am a little disappointed though that no one even bothered to say "we're sorry!" :(

Above is a snippet of the new product sheet. As you can see they have updated the phone to finally match the correct specs, including the 3-way jog wheel ;)

Nice to see they fixed things, but like Rocco, I'm a little disappointed with the way it was handled. They should have made more of a statement. Even a "Thanks for bringing this to our attention" or "We're sorry for any problems this may have caused", would be nice. The most I would have expected is for them to promise that anyone who unknowing purchased this phone and is effected by this problem, HTC would make sure they got all their money back - regardless of the return policy of the store it was purchased from.

Oh well. I guess PR isn't what it once was. So much for keeping the customer happy, eh? :?

I guess there's no reason to when you are (virtually) the only smartphone/ppc seller on the block.
