Bluetooth device discovery using smartphone

I am trying to discover bluetooth devices in smartphone but it is giving error at runtime like Socket Error:10108 and sometimes 10050..

if anyone have idea that how to discover bluetooh devices plz let me know

What Smartphone do you have, and what software are you using to discover the other devices? Oh, and what type of device are you trying to discover?

i have motorala Q series smartphone,Window Mobile 5.0 Software i am trying to discover some nokia series mobile phones which is having bluetooth facility

I don't think the Q has the needed Bluetooth profiles to find other handsets and transfer files.

You can actually. It's called "BT Send". You can send images, sound files, contacts, etc. It is a bit rudimentary in that if you select image send, for example, it will scan and find every single image on the Q, including system images. It can take a while before you can finally select an image to send.
