We know, famous last words, but keyboard-havin' Smartphones always give us that special feeling, and HTC's Excalibur is no exception to the rule. With that all-important FCC approval under its belt, the handset should be making its way to T-Mobile in the coming months -- and since the GSM Q is still just a twinkle in Motorola's eye, this here's the next best thing."

In my opinion, the Excalibur has the potential to be much better than the Q thanks to GSM, and WiFi. As you may already know, it's expected that T-Mobile will be releasing this. Typically releases happen a month or two after the FCC has approved the device. You can read all the legal filings here on the FCC website.

Believe it or not, my wife has already asked me what I want for my upcoming birthday and Christmas. This little baby is going right to the top of my list :D

Does it have EDGE? If so, this may be the first Smartphone w/keypad I might get! If only the Treo 700W was in GSM+EDGE format :(

Hard to say for sure right now, but it's expected too.
