Currently the outline indicates that this exam is going to focus on .NET Compact Framework Foundation, User-Interface, integrating and managing data using ADO.Net, XML, File System, and SQL Mobile, Interoperability and Platform-Specific Features, as well as Optimize, Package, and Deployment. If you're already a Microsoft Certified Professional or you are working towards your certification, you might want to add this exam to your list. :)

You can sign up to take the beta exam right now (71-540) but you have to schedule your test date for after Sept 5th. You can use the promo code BTA540 to take the exam for free.
