View Full Version : External Display Connector?
I have a Cingular 2125 and am looking for a way to connect it to an external display. I would like to get a presentation/slide show going and I want to keep the slideshow on my phone and display it from there. How to do?
Thanks.

Can't be done. Smartphones simply don't have the hardware to drive an external display. The only way to even remotely consider it would be to use a program that provides the smartphone display to a PC over ActiveSync, and then have the PC send it to the monitor, projector, etcetera. But there's no way to do it straight from a smartphone.
I tried the WM5torage app with my '2125 and the phone appeared as a drive letter without ActiveSync. Hmm... Maybe I'm mixing metaphors, but take a look at this:

I wonder if that could be adapted somehow. Maybe not as a mirror for the phone's display, but if I could pump .jpgs or a PowerPoint out, that'd be cool.
