Where are you all finding the adapter above for your phones?
I have an aux input on the back of my vehicle stereo with an RCA patch cord coming out of it. The end of it has a 3.5mm(Male) that I usually hook to an IPOD's headphone jack. I now want to hook my SMT-5600 up to it, but I can't locate an adapter.

Thanks,
~Rob

I found one at Radio Shack. It worked well on my iPaq 1945, but on my SDA it only gives left sounds. The difference is that the adapter was (I think I'm using the right terminology) 3 band (ground, left, right). The 2.5 mm port on my SDA is 4 band (ground, left, right, mic). But, your SMT5600 may be different from my SDA. It's only like 3 bucks or so. You may want to try it out.

Well, while I was surfing just now, I also came across this:

That may help you too.

That is exactly what I was looking for. And according to the site, the jack is "proprietary". That's what I was wondering, if it was a standard of some sort or not.

"P/N: PPCPADPT11
This adapter converts the proprietary four-conductor Pocket PC Phone jack to a 3.5 mm. standard stereo headphone jack, making it possible to hear stereo sound in both ears...."
