Recommended phone? (But limited to 1X)

Looking at upgrading my current PPC to a new smartphone, but unfortunately I am limited to the Bell network. It looks like ALL the cool hardware is GSM.

Any recommendations or suggestions?

Seriously, CDMA in Canada is pretty much the worst option when it comes to new toys. However, I seem to recall something to the effect that they're going to be getting the Motorola Q in a couple months. You might want to look into that.

Yeah, you're stuck with whatever the carrier offers in CDMA land. Especially here in Canada. They won't even allow us to activate devices for review purposes unless the device is already being sold on their network. :roll:

The talk I've heard is that Bell (and others that don't already carry it) are looking to offer the Q. So if you're not in a rush, and you are interested in the Q, then hang on for a little longer. Most likely it will be out just after Sprint in the US releases theirs.
