I was wondering who makes the thinnest Microsoft based Smartphone with Bluetooth? I'm riding a motorcycle more and more and my T-Mobile SDA is just a bit too bulky. Anyone?

It's probably the Motorola Q.

I ride too, everyday. Even my K-Jam will stay in it's case on my belt, or in the inside chest pocket on the jacket, but normally it's in the saddle bag or tank bag.

What do you ride BTW? Mine is a Honda Shadow 1100.

Nah, it's only .25" thinner than my SDA.. There's gotta be something thinner...

Er, not really. The Q is only .45" thick, which is about as thin as it gets. Even the RAZR, which isn't even a smartphone, is .57" thick, and the Samsung i320, the other "thinnest" smartphone, is also .45".

Yes, you're right. I did some additional research and found that the Q looks to be the thinnest phone out there. Thanks!

Nope, the 'Q' beats it by almost .25".

What about the T-mobile Dash? It's a little beveled so maybe the Q is slimmer but it's close. Also the BlackJack is pretty thin.

Q - Dash - BlackJack All 3 of those are pretty slim. I don't think anyone would notice the difference in thickness between them. The Q is taller, the Dash is wider. I find that the BlackJack fits the best in my pockets. But that's a personal preferance.

BlackJack
Dimensions: 113 x 59 x 11.8 mm
Weight: 105 g

Moto Q
Dimensions: 117 x 64 x 11.5 mm
Weight: 115 g

Dash
Dimensions: 111.5 x 62.5 x 12.8 mm
Weight: 130 g

Even though the Dash is ~1mm (about the thickness of your credit card) thicker than the other two, the Dash will feel thinner in your jacket due to it's soft edges & rounded corners. Having played with all 3 phones in my hands for an extended period of time, by far the Dash hands down edges out the other two in ergonomic form factor. Also, the velvety solf rubber skin on the Dash plus the rounded corners are heavenly on your hand to boot. :way to go:

But don't take my words for it, visit your nearest T-mobile and see for yourself.
