Hi! I had my phone working perfectly with Outlook 2000. It would have Outlook mail on there and also my reg mail - [email protected]. Then I made some changes to Outlook to fix something else and it won't go get mail or deliver mail to my phone when not hooked up to my computer. I also tried messing around and somehow added a POP mail to my phone (when you go to messaging - I have a POP3 I never had before. I do get my reg mail (bennettdesign.com mail) on a POP3 with smtp outgoing. Anyway, how do I delete the POP3 and my bennettdesign.com mail to basically start over and get it working again? Also, a friend told me about web2mail.com? What does this do for me?

Thanks!

Ok, what are you trying to do? Do you want always on email? Do you want email on your phone only when you sync with your computer? Do you want your phone to check for email every x minutes? We'll need to understand the basics before we can help. ;)

I'm in the office a lot during the day so I was OK with it downloading mail from Outlook for the past 7 days and then when not connected (when I was out of the office or on weekends) connecting to my mail every hour to download mail.

What I liked was when I synced back up, the mail that was downloaded (showed up as bennettdesign.com on the front of my phone) went back to zero and it updated the Outlook mail.

If this will still happen with web2mail and I can get this with always on email, then I would be open to that and it would certainly be easier than me going to 'send/rec' on my phone which I've done when I'm away from the office, time to time.

hope that helps. But the other issue is that I now have a bennettdesign.com mail on my phone with POP3 next to it. I now get mail on both of them. I definitely think I need to delete them and begin again if I can.

Thanks!! Dave Price [email protected]

? I'm not familiar with that setup. What kind of Smartphone are you using? I don't think that is possible with Windows Mobile Smartphones.

Interesting. Well, there's no way to do email like you described on that phone. Unless you're running some other email system like Good or what have you.

Basically, email that sync's via a desktop USB or Bluetooth connection will be synced to the Outlook Email inbox. Email that is pushed or pulled to your device via Mail2Web or some other Over the Air sync method needs it's own mailbox setup. Hence the POP3 mailbox you see now.

I don't know of any way to have a little of both methods. Unless you're using some other email applicaiton.
