I need activecyn help please!!!

Maybe I'm an idiot but I can't get activesync to work with my 2125. I've installed activesync 4.1 (I even tried 4.2), connected my 2125 and it says it can't connect...try again and if problem persists check troubleshooter. I have PCcillin 2006 and made activesync an exception to the firewall. Still won't connect...still won't sync contacts, ect. Let's review...Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft XP OS, Microsoft Mobile...wait, there's something in common with all three. Tell me again why I don't buy Apple?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...I have'nt had full functionality with my new 2125 for weeks because of this.

what kind of error do you encounter? i'm pretty sure that you wouldn't overlook installing servicepacks (on account t... if you could describe the symptom further, maybe i can diagnose the problem faster ^_^ (i've been watching house... ^_^)

Have you tried turning the virus and firewall off? Of course I wouldn't recommend running like that, and even disconnect from the network when you try this, but it could start narrowing down whether one of these is the culprit. If it works put the virus back first, alone.

It just says "the connection failed. Unplug your device and try again. If problem persists check activesync troubleshooter."

Finally figured it out...when in doubt Google it. Resolution involved a lengthy process of listing multiple exceptions to my PCcillin firewall. Thanks anyway.
