Sync Notes with Outlook and ActiveSync ??

Hi all,

I'm new member today so sorry if this wrong place to post.

I have a SmartPhone running Windows Mobile 2003 SE, just downloaded and updated to AcitveSync 3.8 and to sync with Inbox,Contacts,Tasks,Calender through Outlook 2003.....all works fine except I cannot or do not know how to sync Notes on my device with Outlook Notes ????? Whenever I update or create a note in Outlook, it does not transfer to my device.

When I say Notes on my device, I mean just general text notes which are usually stored in My Documents on the SmartPhone.

Anyone have an ideas ???

Oh if it helps, my SmartPhone is a VOQ A10 (the brick with a keyboard) :wink:

Notes does not sync with the Smartphone. We're not really sure what Microsoft was thinking when they left this out. You can try third party applications like SmartphoneNotes. It will add this functionality back into your device.

thanks, i give the link a look over and try that.

I did use some other software called voqmail but I lost a load of notes when for some reason whenever the device synced with outlook, it would delete the notes off the device.

MS should have added a new sync task for Notes, I agree with you.
