Compatible (wired) Stereo Headset for 2125

I have been trying to find a better headset for the 2125 that I can workout with. The 3.5 to 2.5 adapter you buy at RadioShack sticks out to far and I am afraid I might bend something with it.

I recently tried several models of Jabra (cellphone) stereo headsets and could only get mono sound out of it. Does anyone know of a stereo (sports type) headset that does work with the 2125?

I linked the SP3i, as any of those will work. All of my HTC based 2.5mm headsets are set up the same. Benefit here is that you get the mic and phone functionality too. I haven't found a commercial 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that supports the mic, though you can find adapters to work for the stereo.
