For data devices noted above, all customers must activate at time of purchase on a 2-year Cingular Voice Plan $39.99 or higher plus Unlimited Data Feature"</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/augusto.2006-06-05-2125mib.png" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />The above screenshot and quote were taken from the new rebates Cingular has released this month. Looking at the screenshot you will notice Cingular’s huge $150 mail-in-rebate for the Cingular 2125/HTC Faraday. The rebate does require a new two year contract/upgrade as well as signing up for the MEdia Net Unlimited data plan ($19.99/month). If you ask me, this is a step in the right direction for Cingular since you rarely see them pushing Windows Mobile devices so aggressively.

$150 rebate? So what's that make the phone worth? $50 or so? Crazy!

This latest move places the 2125 on par with the Q, as far as price goes. Is this Cingular's way of stealing a little thunder from Verizon's new toy?

I just got this phone from Amazon for FREE after rebate. Plus, for some reason, you do NOT need any MEdiaNET data package through amazon. $39.99 voice plan works fine!

I also got a 2GB Mini SD for $37 at amazon!

I've only had the phone a few days, but I love it so far!

Great deal. I got a $50 and $100 rebate when I bought the 2125 a few weeks ago.

This phone is great. Compared to my AT&amp;T SMT5600 I get signal everywhere.

Another reason Cingular sometimes discounts phones this heavily is to make way for a new model...could it be??? 8O

Last I checked, Amazon had the T-Mobile SDA for -$10 after rebate and the T-Mobile MDA for $50 after rebate. Those are smokin' good deals!

This might get me to return that Q I just bought...where can I download this rebate form? After seeing this, and working out the details, the Verizon plan seems overpriced. I can get this smartphone with unlimited data for at least $20 less a month less.

Verizon is such a rip off. You can get a Tmo SDA with wifi for -$10 and $70 per month and that includes 1000 minutes and unlimited data. Verizon is $80 per month for 450 minutes with unlimited data. Amazon has some great deals.
