Why you ask? If you look at <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11097">this news post</a> Mike did a while back you will see why. That is a Clam-shell Smartphone you are looking at. I am hoping this will translate into more Smartphones for us to play with.

I really want a solid flip phone, I'm too rough on a phone for an open candy bar style.

This is good news for us Cingular customers. Why you ask? If you look at this news post (http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11097) Mike did a while back you will see why. That is a Clam-shell Smartphone you are looking at. I am hoping this will translate into more Smartphones for us to play with.

Isn't that Smartphone a CDMA model? :?

I think its an easy assumption to think they will create a GSM model of the phone - they did sign a contract with Cingular and the clamshell is their latest release.

Let's us dream! Don't be a wet blanket :cry:

we just got some dummy phones today for the new pantech toys. unfortuantly they are not smartphones, but they are REALLY tiny camera phones made for Cingulars "Go-Phone" lineup. i'll take pictures tomorrow

Opti - is that Symbian - not Sp is it?

thats pure dumbphone, nothing fancy. also, my hands are very nice. im not gonna pay someone 40USD to hurt them ;)
