Been thru website, 2125 manual, without any help.
Can someone tell me how to put in a carriage return (ie: next line) in T9 on the 2125? Don't see it in symbols.
I'm putting lists into the phone, and need this function.
thanx all.....

I believe it is the last entry in the symbols group long hold on "*" - the Paragraph symbol (a "P" with a double lined post)
Also, some smartphones use the Navi/action button to insert a CR

I always use the action button, push down on the center of the joy stick/pad.

Kris,
Most do, some don't. And if you have a program like XBar loaded it overrides the CR entry so you have to remember to turn it off.
Also, some carriers change key behavior - like the TMO SDA uses the long "#" entry for entering Silent Mode instead of Symbol. So a bit of thumping around. If all else fails you can edit the symbol library and add in the Carraige Return to the table.

Holding down the action button works.
Thanks!

This thread reminded me to thank Mike for pointing out (in a different super double-secret forum) that if you hold down the key while in T9 or ABC mode...it will type a number directly. This is really useful as I was tapping the #1 key 10 times to actually get to the number 1. Learn new stuff every day. Today....CHECK!

I would like to find out that super secret forum. Wish Mike had told me about it.
The hold down for number is a new tip for me. Thanks for spreading the word.

Yeah, that's a great tip. I use it all the time for entering serial numbers, passwords, or whatever it may be.
Glad I could help encece!
As for the super secret forum, I could tell you, but they would stop at nothing to silence us. It's not worth the pain. However, the end result will be well worth waiting. ;)
