I want to put an Image as my backround.
What size do I convert (in paint) it to, to fit as a homescreen Image on a SMT5600?And where do I go to edit the size? (Also that it will not interfere with the start and contacts menu on the bottom)
I tried to google it but it only gave me the same answewrs the manual gave me..... the resolution size.

Not that tough to check. The ones that are on the phone are 176x200. I think it will be squezed to fit no matter what you use, but you want the aspect right or it will look funny, or you will be wasting space.

You want to do this in Paint? It's stretch and skew in the tools menu.

actually, its 176x220. theres an easier way. why dont you edit the picture (color, brightness, contrast, that kind of stuff). after that, sync the picture back into your phone and using the built in explore, use the "save as homescreen" command... i hope this helps ^_^

I originally tried that, but the picture is too small

ah, i c. you need to zoom it in when you do that. zoom it in such that it will be 'fullscreen', then use the "save as homescreen" command ^_^
