I don't know what to answer for this poll. I do care, it's a pretty nice phone. But I don't know that I trust the end of May as a shipping or availability date. :?

Same here. I will not switch camps (GSM -> CDMA) for Q.

well, for me, the Q will have to function flawlessing as a phone and a PDA before i even think about getting one.

i was gonna get the Q if it ever came out for GSM networks but to tell you the truth im kinda digging the different color htc foreseers :)

Yes, unfortunately, "available" and "released" don't always mean you can actually get one. If they are "announcing" the Q on May 22nd, it can mean anything from being able to get it in stores immediately to still being a month or so away.

You're all right to be sceptical--would it interest you to know that there's a 30' tall poster of a model holding a Q in the lobby of the MOTO bldg where all their execs work? Was out @ Schaumburg last week and couldn't believe my eyes.

Much more importantly, 2 of the senior execs I met with were using a Q and they both expressed how important the phone was and that it be launched sooner rather than later!

I will be interesting to see what happens on the 22nd--and thereafter!
