Hi, I found the instructions to hard reset my T-Mobile SDA (II) online. I was wondering would it be too much trouble if I hard reset'ed my SDA? I am installing bunch of trial programs on it, and eventually I am thinking some of them will go bad, so would it be any trouble if I reset the phone to factory settings?
I have following instructions, let me know if anyone knows different way:
SDA Phone Hard Reset
The phone must be OFF prior to doing any of these steps.
1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
2. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Instead of 'soft1' and 'soft2' (which I incorrectlyt assumed werethe first 2 'rice' keys) please use "left soft key" and "right soft key" (1st & 4th buttons) which is how the manual has these buttons named.
3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
