Active Sync UpDate Programs with 5600 without data usage

I bought a couple of programs for my 5600, Weather Center, and NewsBreak. You are supposed to be able to sync with the phone to update the programs. My problem is, the cell service kicks in and wants to download the updates. I tried Flight Mode to stop the cell service, but the icon comes on that the cell service is downloading.

Any thoughts? I don't want to pay for data usage.

Download the updates using your desktop. Then Sync your phone with your desktop and install the updates that way. ;)
