Does anyone know how to increase the volume in WM applications ? (And I did try using the buttons on the face of the phone). By the way I have the TMobile SDA.

Are you talking about alarms and notifications? Those are values that can be set in your current profile.

no that is not the issue. when i receive a voice mail message in my office phone, it is sent to me via e-mail in the form of a .WAV file. I can not get the volume up enough to hear the messages.

When the wav is playing back try 2 things: First, push the volume buttons on the side of the device, and if that doesn't help, second push the joystick up. Try both of these during playback of the wav file.
