Orange in response to the customer requests has issued an official statement:

"Orange is working with its partners to ensure that stereo audio via Bluetooth technology meets the rigorous standards required by Orange, and therefore adds true benefit to our customers. As soon as we are happy that we have reached the required audio quality, we will enable this feature in the future."

Orange representative, Victoria Sandell, contacted us with the above statement. No official availability date was mentioned and the nature of the problem was also not mentioned in the email note that we received. But overall, it is good to know that Orange is working on getting the A2DP or stereo audio via Bluetooth to its customers. The thing that concerns me is that I have heard some people stating that some of the devices are underpowered to run the stereo Bluetooth profile, I hope that is not true. :?

I hope that's not the case! I think the devices are very nicely powered and while more power would be nice, there should be enough there now to do this. :(

Well there is a well worded alibi. And as soon as auto makers feel that the performance is consistant with an acceptable customer experience they will produce cars that get decent gas mileage.

I practise optimistic pessimism. I expect the worst, so I am never disappointed. It is either what I expected, or I am pleasantly surprised.
