I was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to change the background on the start menu. I have a Cingular 2125, and you can change the home screen, but not the start menu, and if you use the built in orange theme, it looks stupid when you go to the start menu, and all of the borders are orange, and the background is a blue screen. I figure, it's a jpeg or something even the name of it and location would be nice, then I could rename it, and copy in another one with a diferent background. Thanks.

Hey, thanks alot! I appreciate the fast reply. Now I just have to find out what the better registry editors are out there. This is something that really should have been built into the O.S. You shouldn't have to do this just to change the background.

I just created a Theme instead. It takes care of the menu, font color, background etc.

There are a number of Theme packs and Them software out there, just google for them. Or mike may know some.

For making themes I use ThemeMaker (http://www.thememaker.biz/). It covers all the basic stuff you might want to do.
