You're not the last one. I'm into puzzles but I was offended by the way people just latched on to this like their lives depended on it.

I deliberately stayed away.

this for me falls into the same catagory as harry potter... if the entire planet becomes obsessed with it all at once then i stay away. i saw in the mouth of madness, i know whats up ;)

obviously something evil is afoot :)

Thanks folks, glad that I am not alone. Everytime I go to the book store, get bombarded with books Sudoku from the welcome table to the table next to the checkout counters. And now even the local newspapers have these puzzles along with crossword.

PS: Oh by the way, I am a big fan of <cough> Harry <cough> Potter.

I just started playing Sudoku. I think is a very cool little puzzle game...but don't understand what the "craze" is all about. There are plenty of games out there just as good.

I missed the craze, too, but I'm fully on board now. When I run out of new techniques to learn and to program, then I'll get bored and move on, I suppose.

BTW: I wrote the aforementioned program.

I did the same thing with Harry Potter, too (not wrote it, ignored it). "It's just a kid's book." JK Rowling really is an excellent writer! I was amazed.

Anyway, I'm posting here for two reasons: First to thank Kris for the review and Smartphone Thoughts overall for all of the great information that I've lurked over the years.
And to offer a discount code for Sudoku Sensei @ Handango. 20% off using CBB1AD74. Good through the end of March.
Add your product to the basket, enter the code on the checkout screen, and hit Update Cart. This won't execute the purchase.

Maybe now that I'm registered, I'll finally post something.;)
