I have a 2125 and want to use google mobile for image searches and whatever. I figured that since it is a pretty new device that IE would be able to read xhtml but when I try to go to google mobile, it gives me the wml version which won't let me search photos. Can anybody help?
Thanks Y'all

*point at the newbie and giggle* WELCOME, We're quite the crew.
PIE == Pocket IE. The common acronym for the Pocket PC bastardized version of Internet Explorer. Bastardized because, IMHO I feel they really striped it too far - especially when you see the alternative products on the market. Also, make sure you check out the post on Google mobile products for the browser, mail, etc.
Google Mobile is a Google product supporting mobile platforms for HTTP, Mail, etc. It will take a website and reformat it for a mobile device screen. It has its plus and minuses - check this thread ( http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10496&highlight= )
You can also look at multiple addons out there (just search the posts) or alternative browsers such as Opera (http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/

thanks guys, I appreciate the welcoming responses. Only thing is I still am not understanding why my IE doesnt show the xhtml version of Google mobile, just the wml version. Do I have to buy a different browser? Its pretty new and just seems like it should support xhtml. Any thoughts?
Thanks again, nice to meet you all.

Try this:
www.google.com/xhtml from your cell phone.
Here's the full Mobile page (from PC) for help and features of gmail, search, iamges, homepage etc for mobile

No plugins are necessary.
I can only now assume you have your PIE or GPRS configured wrong and are using WAP to browse, not GPRS.
Contact your carrier for the correct connection settings or google "< your carriername> GPRS settings"
I am on an old MPX220 Wm2003 and have no issues at all via AT&T/Cingular

Ok I got it, it would seem as though it is case sensitive or something. Oh well, thanks for all your help guys.
