Airlines, tour operators, entrepreneurs and even old-fashioned travel book publishers have been unleashing a wave of information accessible with MP3 players and mobile phones that is easier to tote while on vacation and is delivering increasingly personal recommendations."</i><br /><br />This seems like a natural progression to me. As the amount storage space in devices continues to climb, it only makes sense to cram it full of information about where you're traveling to. It's easier to search, and bookmark sites. Plus, it fits nicely in your pocket or bag. Of course, it's all for not if someone steals your phone or you forget your charger. ;)

Absolutely, I have the Rough Guides and Not-for-tourists (NFT) guides on my PPC, along with Maps, of course. I have three or four guidebooks on one little device, complete with pictures and all. I love it.
