Currently there are no rebates listed, but in the past the rebates have always taken a little longer to appear. If you're interested in buying the phone without a contract, it can be yours for just $399. That's a considerable price difference from the similarly specifications i-Mate SP5(m), which can be found on Expansys for $504.99. I've been watching Amazon for Cingular's 2125, but it has not appear as of yet. I will let you know when it shows up. [Affiliate]

Update: Bushrod has found a $50 rebate coupon reducing the price with a 1 year contract to $199.99 :D Thanks Bushrod!

I just checked and there's a $50 rebate with $39.99 plan, making it $199.99 with one year contract.

They also have this:

T-Mobile MDA Smartphone (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=smartphonetho-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=tg%2Fdetail%2F-%2FB000EM8REU%2Fsr%253D53-1%2Fsr%253D53-1%2Fqid%253D1140447098%2Fref%253Dtr%255F286251) [SPT Affiliate Link]

It's the MDA for $349.99 after rebate. Don't know how much t-mobile sells if for or if this is a good deal.

The SDA rebate is for purchase before 3-31. I"d guess there might be a better rebate after then...

Oh! Cool, Thanks. I didn't notice that. I'll update the original post.

As for the MDA, I didn't even think of looking for that. I'm too wrapped up in the Smartphone world I guess. (I also updated your URL and made it an affiliate one. ;) )

Talking about deals and no contracts, I thought I saw the i-mate SP5 (the black beauty) on eBay for $400 Buy Now deal and I believe it was hosted by eXpansys.

Thanks Kris. I will keep an eye out on ebay for their auctions. I'm dying to get a WM5 phone, but am not excited about the TDA's keypad. I've got an application which I've been writing, and eventually will need a true WM5 device to try it on. The longer I wait, the more likely I will succumb to the TDA because I could get it from the TMobile store down the street.

If anyone is interested in buying a phone without contract, T-Mobile has it for $379. The tax might persuade you to buy from Amazon though...
