Anyone know of a more robust version of the CHM than is the one built in the MPX220?
That one allows me to delete individual calls in history one by tedious one, or the entire list all at once. What I'd really like to see is something that would turn the history list into a 'checkbox' type list where I could check off all those I wish to clear from memory and hit the Delete key once.
I've down a quick forum search and a search through the 'software' portion of the site and haven't come up with anything....though may easily have passed by.
Thanks!

I don't know of anything. Of course, that doesn't mean much. I hear a lot of people aren't impressed with the CHM. Personally, I just clear the history every day or so. I find it more annoying that anything and would rather not have it at all.

Since switching to my 2125, I've noticed what I believe to be different behavior than I experienced on my 5600.
Now a given number can be listed multiple times in the call history, instead of only listing the most recent call. As a result, when I type in a name for smart dial, I might get 5 'history' versions of that name listed, along with the address book name, when all are really the same number.
C'mon, if it's the same phone number, just list it once!

I always assumed each 'call' was listed in CHM...ergo, even if my brother (or whoever) called me 50 times in a month from the same #, it would list all 50. And I assumed it was built that way because some folks would want to compare their bill line item by line item with CHM.
Personally, I don't need that level of detail, and the way you discuss it would work just great for me. Would sorta turn CHM into a 'Frequent Contacts' list of sorts.

It depends on what list you're looking at. If you go Start / Call History, you should see all the calls regardless of how many times someone called you.
If, however, you press the green call button from the home page, you will see a summary page. This shows you a list of unique callers. So if Joe calls you 3 times in a row, it will only show once.
A little confusing, but the two are different views of the same data.

MUCHO gracias! I had no idea that option was available.

Thanks! The annoying part is that for some reason when I use smart dial, it's now listing the same number repeatedly... it might list 4 entries from the call history to the same number, plus the address book contact. It should list only the contact, or at least the contact and 1 history entry.

Ya, that's really annoying, isn't it. :( I've told Microsoft this a couple times. Basically, they are showing you the call history + your contacts. Which is fine except when they match. I would rather see my contact info first and my the call history stuff at the bottom or not at all.
