2125 contact list?

contacts can be filtered via categories (i.e. friends, work, etc.); and you can filter your contact list via the category (i.e. friends)

but every time I return to the contact page I have to re-filter the contacts

shouldn’t it stay on the filter specified? the SMT 5600 did

Ya, that would make sense, eh? Not sure what happened there. :(

I don't really use categories anymore. Have you used SmartDial? it's the best way to search your contacts. You'll find a match faster than any other method. Think of it like T9 for contacts.

From the home screen just start punching in the keys that align with the contacts name or number - in T9 fashion. So only push the key once - regardless of the letter/number you want from it.
