I feel my sp5m isn;t reliable lately. Sometimes when i try to dial out there is no dial tone on the other end, sometimes people call me and it says its the wrong number or the phone is turned off (isn;t). This mainly occurs after i've used the net on it, can someone suggest what the problem might be? i discontinue the net pages i was looking at and there is a problem dialing out , i get that error message saying a signal isnt available or i dialed the wrong number. thanks for the tips.
Could be one of several things. 1.) signal strength, 2.) too many applications running / open. Close them in Task Manager, or 3.) you haven't power cycled the phone recently.

Almost sounds like a carrier issue. I haven't experienced anything like what you described. :(

what is power cycled? one person said i should do that?
I feel that my sp5m gives me the error message and shows to others that my phone is turned of after i've been on the internet, I do go to task manager alot to turn everything off, i wonder if its a software problem? i already had it formatted one time, this is in saudi arabia and i haven;t had this problem with another phone, i guess i'll just have to keep carrying my spare til i find the problem:)
Power cycle = Turn off / Turn on.
Be careful with the red End Call button. Unlike earlier Smartphones it does not work as a return to previous page button. If pushed multiple times it will turn off the GPRS (data) radio. If that happens, go into Flight mode, then back to Normal mode to re-engage data.
