SMS timestamps

Hi,

I know this may sound like an odd question, but can anyone with a Smartphone let me know if SENT SMS messages are time/date stamped?

I have a S-E P800 which does this, and a T610i which doesn't. For various reasons, I have to keep a log of SMS's sent to & recieved from certain contacts and this is one of the reasons I got rid of the 610.

Also, is it possible to upload / download SMS's via activesync (saves re-typing everything again!!!)

Yes, if I switch to the SMS Sent folder, I can see a time and date on them. As for copying them over to your dekstop, you'll need some third party software - like the stuff from Jeyo I think. I've never done this, but I can say it doesn't work like that out of the box. You'll need a third party tool, and I think Jeyo has something like this.

Yep, Jeyo (http://www.jeyo.com/extender.asp) for sure. I use it and it works great.
