If you have one of these keyboards and have recently purchased a Windows Mobile 5 device, you'll want to head over to the ThinkOutside website and download a the drivers. My i-mate SP5m is so happy right now.

I find it interesting that ThinkOutside decided not to use the built-in bluetooth keyboard profile. I wonder what they didn't like about it? :?
Any issues with the keyboard/driver on your SP5m Mike? I've been eagerly awaiting one of these for mine but would love for someone else to be a beta tester first. My SP5m has been such a pleasure compared to my first Smartphone that I'd hate to have it spoiled by a negative experience.
Thanks...oh yeah, can you use the keyboard whilst using a Bluetooth headset?

I hear ya. I've been very careful - especially since there is no backup software! However, I can't really comment on this, seeing as I've only had the driver installed for a couple hours. ;) So far, all it good. On my old 5600, I never had a problem with the ThinkOutside drivers.

Not that this is considered standard usage, at least not for me. I tested it out and, Yes, both seem to work. I didn't take or make any calls, but the headset was connected and I was typing on the keyboard. :D

I've been using mine on the SP5 without the drivers for some time now. Anyone know if there is a reason to use the drivers?

The drivers will allow you to define shortcuts to applications etc. using the keyboard and also configure key clicks, repeat rate etc. although I'm unsure if the latter is already in the standard WM5 HID driver? I'm unsure if there is anything else specific to the Smartphone version either.
