So as I walk through COSTCO I see this FM modulator with a USB connector. Last time I looked for a charger for my Audiovox 5600 from a Cingular store it had a price of 19.00 and did not work. I purchased the VR3 for 25 bucks and hurried to my truck to see if it would work and charge my 2125. First I plugged my Audiovox 5600 and the charge light would not come on a little disappointed then I tried my 2125 and success it worked. I had to look for an adaptor at Radio Shack to go from a 3.5mm to a 2.5mm for the cable that came with the VR3.

Pros: 1. Charges the 2125 I would like to assume that i-mate SP5 would work or some of the new devices with Windows Mobile 5.
2. You can play your music MP3 (it will get a little distorted if you play it loud
but it’s acceptable). The FM modulator gives you plenty of high channel stations to find one that is not taken.
3. Hands free will work OK and hear people through you car speakers.
4. Connect other devices like MP3 players or USB drives.
5. You can’t beat the price and Costco accepts returns I think 90 days later.

Cons: 1. The VR3 runs a little hot and started to smell. You know the smell that an electronic device makes when it’s first plugged in or burns out. I will post you guys with an updated if it burns out.
2. Does not work with Audiovox 5600 ( I am not sure about MPX220 or any other USB device).

Wow! for $25, that's a pretty good deal. I wonder if the Costco's up here would have those as well. Might be time for another run to Costco!

do the play /volume controls pass through to the phone?!? Or does this device only works with USB flash drives that way?

Flash drives only. It would be nice if it would work through the phone.
