At the same time a small page cropped up devoted to it. This single page grew into a site called CoolSmartPhone.com. As we've moved on, so have Orange and the SPV range. Orange brought us the first Windows Smartphone and have now announced the latest in their range - the Orange SPV C600. It's a leap too, because it's the first Orange phone with Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone. A lot of people have been waiting for this device and, just by the design it's clear how successful its predecessor - the C500 was."</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Kris-Dec05-C600.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br /><i>Hmm</i>...Doesn't this Smartphone look familiar? Now where have I seen this before? No, It can't be...the one I have seen looks different...it has &lt;cough> a <i>hump.</i> If you are shopping for the Cingular's 2125, then you might want to read what Gears over at CoolSmartPhone.com has to say about its closely related cousin, the C600.

Look at the end of the article:

"It's worth mentioning quickly that this Orange SPV C600 is also sold in the USA as the Cingular 2125. It does however, have a weird blob on the top. The C600 doesn't have this!"

The network coverage over there is far better than the US (or North America) so, it kind of backs up the theroy of better reception.

I am located in Puerto Rico wich is known to have extremely bad GSM reception (too many mountains).

Most phones I've had use to had very bad reception. With the SMT 5600 I never had bad reception. I don't see the need to improove reception for the US. If the SMT 5600 works perfectly well in PR, on the rest of the US it will work very well with no need for ugly Humps.

Something weird:

Look at this image on the article, where they are discussing Internet Explorer. Looks like the C600 also has Humps.
