Treo 700w and PPC Software

Will the new Treo 700w running Windows be able to run Windows PPC software? I would like to move to a PPC w phone capabilities (or vice-versa), but I have a lot invested in my software that I don't want to give up. I like the form factor for the upcoming Treo 700w; and I'm considering replacing my aging iPaq h3955 with it. Will I be able to use my software?

The Treo 700W is running Windows Mobile for Pocket PC Phone Edition. So you should be able to keep your existing investment in software, but there is no quarentee. Some applications will need to be updated to support the new screen size and Windows Mobile 5.0 and the developer may decide to charge for that upgrade.
