Instead of a flimsy patch that is pasted to the back of the cell phone. This booster has an antenna, that is positioned at a place where it can receive a strong signal, like outside the building. And the booster amplifies the signal from the external antenna and re-transmits it inside the building using another antenna. The cell phones receive the re-transmitted signal, which is stronger. :-) Has anyone over here tried this product or a similar one? Given the poor cell phone signal strength inside our homes and offices at some places, it makes sense to have a booster installed.
