Previous models suffered from ridiculous battery life, absurd weight and a plentiful source of system quirks that could always 'mysteriously' be fixed with a reboot. The SP3 delivered reliability, good battery life and fantastic functionality. So why upgrade? This device has caused the virtual disappearance of one of us. We will refer to him from now on as "he who must not be named". Personally I prefer the non musical version of the phone but you have to admit, this is a thing of beauty.

Why does it seem like everyone on the planet has got this Smartphone? Looks like, Jerry, you and me are the only ones without it. The only consolation is that, they have the "m" version and we like the non-"m" version.

T-Mobile please save me.

We may be left out of the party now, but just wait till we get our new phones. They will be much better than this one. We are just more demanding. Connoisseurs if you will.

I'm still enjoying my SP3i with a rouge ROM (somehow it came with WMP 10). I am looking forward to finding more distrubuters of the SP5m, though. I prefer to quickly access the media over accessing messages. As much as I would love to drop the cash now I think the wife would murder me for the $500 price tag for the phone.

I currently have an SP3 (branded "T-Mobile SDA") and I have an SP5 on order - I'll be happy to write a comparative review if anyone's interested?

Though, umm, if everyone has one then there might not be much point.

I for one, don't have a SP5 on order yet. A comparative review is a good idea.

It's a good idea even if others have one on order! I would love to see pictures and thoughts on the SP5. 8)

I wish I had one so I could develop and test applications on a real WM5 device. If anyone has a spare phone sitting around, you could give it to me. :)
