I got the Bluetooth module in my Tablet PC working to my needs (Toshiba's v4 European drivers are so much better than their v3.2 North American drivers) and I can initiate an ActiveSync from my SMT5600 via Menu -> Connect via Bluetooth, but how do I disconnect the connection, short of going out of range of the Tablet or turning on flight mode/turning off Bluetooth on the phone?

I followed these instructions (http://smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7690&sid=4e52c5d0792efb0b53680660443c14ec) to get AS over BT working, but for some reason, I cannot get the phone to do a BT AS setup; it reports "Please bond with other Bluetooth device which supports serial port or ActiveSync as your ActiveSync partner!"

I can sync my iPaq over BT and disconnect no problem, so everything's setup on the Tablet end correctly (com port is set up, everything that should be is selected in AS options).

This is an old problem. There is no direct way to disconnect AS on my SMT5600 either. I just turn off BT on my phone to break the connection. :?

There are some third party free tools that will you can map to a speed dial location and it will toggle bluetooth off and then back on to break the connection.

Personally, I just start walking away from my computer. ;)

The very last post in that thread (here (http://smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=51740#51740)) links to a really helpful PDF how to. I use it every time I have to re-establish the connection. Follow it step by step and you'll be fine. :)

I really wish someone would do Bluetooth on the Smartphone like the ipaq's do. It's so easy and simple on there!

Grumble... There always has to be an imperfection...

Anyways, I found BlueTooth Toggler (http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=99493) and am mostly happy again.
