Set for release in early 2006, the Motorola Q is some ways off from seeing the light of day. That said, based on the initial information we've received, we're excited about this product."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Jerry-Q.gif" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />Here is a short video clip of Motorolas upcoming egg, I mean Q! It is actually nice to see the thing in human hands to get a sense of its dimensions. There is also a <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/Motorola_Q/4505-6454_7-31473357-2.html?tag=nav">text review</a> if you want more on this latest Motorola creation.

I for one haven't given up on the Q yet. Let's see how it looks when it gets to market. It could be a nice option for those who want to move up from a standard candybar without adopting a much larger device (i.e. Treo, Wizard, etc).

The Q is gonna stink up the joint. Are you kidding? They are using processors from brick phones. It will be slow and crash.

That's all I'm sayin. De'Nile is a river in Egypt. Break away from the light  it won't hurt you.

Yikes, that does suck... I retract my previous statement. :)

Oh well, there's always the Motorola R to look forward to...

I'm still hopeful that this will be a great device. Right now, it's hard to know for sure, we'll have to wait until after it starts to ship.

What's with the off-center screen? And why isn't the keyboard back-lit?

No EDGE?! In all the reviews and specs I've read, I haven't seen a word on whether this phone will have EDGE.

I'm beginning to doubt that Cingular will carry this thing. We shall see.
