The Windows Embedded Source Tools for Bluetooth Technology program provides a Win32 API Wrapper that developers can expose in Visual Studio .NET or the .NET Compact Framework. Exposing the Win32 API Wrapper reduces the amount of code needed to develop for Bluetooth Technologies and helps make it easier to create compelling Windows Mobile and Windows CE Bluetooth applications."

Anil Dhawan, a Program Manager at Microsoft who had earlier done a video for Channel 9 on Bluetooth programming, has written a managed Bluetooth library for Windows Mobile 5.0 platform that makes it easy to write Bluetooth applications. Jason Fuller has used this library to build a two player Spacewar game that interacts over Bluetooth. The source code for Bluetooth library is available under a shared source license, which makes it even better. :-)
