I could not find it. The press release does not state the Windows Mobile version. It will have SD card slot. And of course it will be the first Windows Mobile Smartphone to have the walkie-talkie functionality. :-)

It is running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. I was shown the phone while in San Francisco, a day before its launch and took the pictures.

This phone was a long time in the making, and after all that time, it's going to be released with Windows Mobile 2003 SE? While the Walkie-Talkie features sound pretty cool, one has to wonder if this is going to turn into another Voq - too little, too late. :?

Another home run for Motorola! I'm sorry but this phone looks like it was found in a dinosaur bone quarry.

It took sometime (first announced in 2003 to enter the Sprint lineup in 2004, but actually launched in 2005 on Nextel).

PTT is nice, but the main feature is really iDEN/GSM/GPRS - American users can roam on GSM networks overseas, while pure iDEN phones can't do that.

I am sending a PM to you Mike. Or see you at the Summit?

The phone is actually small. It is roughly the size of the I860, only a little thicker. Great reception and a decent battery.
