Make sure you have the latest version. It's not called Beta Player anymore. I forget the new name. Also, make sure you have the Smartphone version. You won't be able to install the Pocket PC version.

It is called Core Pocket Media Player (http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about) and it works great on my 5600.
