I think this may be one of them and it is a free beta. :)

Cool. Has anyone installed this? I'm going to download a copy now. I'll let you know how things go....

This reminds me of the Palm OS Launcher.

Well, I didn't make the registry change to make this my default start menu. So I have to run it to use it. However, it's pretty slick. It looks a lot like the WM5 start menu that we have seen pictures of. I like the scroll bar at the bottom - it allows you to easily see where you are in the app. Plus the keypad numbers (1-9) are shortcuts to the app in the same location as the key.

Overall, I like it. 8)

Can you uninstall it? The last free software I installed...I just couldn't uninstall. And eventually had to hard reset my phone with all sorts of trouble. So would love to know that before I try it out :) Thanks.

I've installed this and its very nice. I can't answer the uninstall question because my entire uninstall section is empty. I have no idea what I did that caused that either.

Uninstalled without any problems - or at least nothing that I have noticed yet. :worried:

One word of caution, if you install this and do the registry change, before you uninstall, be sure to undo the registry change. ;) :D

Hey Lawrence - great Job!

Hey John! How are you doin'?! :D

Just a little backgrounder for those interested...

I started programming for the smartphone platform because of John Cody's eVB hack! (That was the very first time I ever tried eVB) :D

I was using eVB for SP2002 back then, testing every app on my HTC Tanager. Right now, i shifted to SP2003/2003SE using VB.net (and C#.net) on my HTC Voyager and O2 Xphone2.

Thanks John for pointing me towards using VB for the Smartphone. You're the man!

Thanks lawrence - Your apps are very professional and being a programmer myself, I can see and appreciate the many hurdles you had to overcome for some of the functionality in them. Very good work :D

Coming from you, I take this as a very big complement! Thanks! :D

You're right John. Especially with the .net compact framework. A lot of the desktop counterpart functionalities are not supported. Have had sleepless nights... hehe.

I treat those "hurdles" as challenges.

Good to chat with you again. :)
