It is a better way to use your mobile phone at home or at the office. It protecs you and your family from the risk of cell phone radiation. You can use the regular headset or you can call hands-free. Several wireless service providers are offering great deals with unlimited minutes. Now with the desktop station it is easier to make longer phone calls with your mobile phone, without consuming your mobile phone battery. Using the Universal Desktop Station gives you more flexibility with different mobile phones. Just change the adapter cable and the unit is ready to use for your new phone!"

If you're cellphone is your primary phone, you should check these out. Basically it's a homebase for your cellphone that provides a regular corded handset for your cellphone. I know there are other models of this out there. Does anyone here have one and care to pass along your experiences and thoughts about it?

That thing sure looks clunky. Wouldn't a nice headset be better?

They're never very pretty are they? Why not just Bluetooth-enable a regular land-line phone and make it handle both lines?

That's a good question... With this solution, if you take your phone and leave the house, nobody else will be able to use that handset. :(

There's a Bluetooth enabled cordless phone from Uniden that will allow you to connect to a BT enabled cellphone.
