Talk about a good "starter" phone, or possibly a backup phone.

For those that might not be aware, here is a little background info: Sierra Wireless has decided to exit the Smartphone market. The Voq is the only Windows Mobile Smartphone with a built-in keyboard. It doesn't offer Bluetooth, WiFi, or a camera. It is considered by some to be large, and goofy looking. I know a couple people who have this phone and love it. They've never had a problem. It looks like Expansys is selling off the remaining hardware cheap.

I could never get to like that goofy flip open keyboard.

It looks big. And definitely not to be carried in your pocket. But feels very comfortable in your hands. And I thought the keyboard was pretty effective. Wish Sierra had pursued its quest to make smaller Smartphones with flip open keyboard.

It's better than no keyboard, or that crap T9, IMHO. ;)

Two words: Cargo Pants. ;) Or a nice winter jacket.

yeah - a bit too large, and with the news about the T-mobile smartphone, I think I can live until sometime in October for now...

Wow... Am I the only one who sees this as a good deal?? $150 for a unlocked Smartphone with no contract to sign! Sure it doesn't have everything, but it's cheap!

Heck, I almost bought one just because it's such a good price.

I could even live with the fold out KB. But NO Bluetooth?

No Sale!

I love mine with the keyboard. No Bluetooth, WHO CARES! No camera, WHO CARES! I use it much more for instant messaging! To each his/her own! Bluetooth is over-rated!
