It’s on television, folks know the names of professional players, leagues are appearing everywhere, and the phrase “All In” has joined the national vernacular. Ante up, because this is your chance to hone the skills needed to become the big shark in your little pond."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20050824-TexasHoldEm.gif" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Ted over at Mozongoware.com, has posted a review of Aces Texas Hold'em No Limit Poker. It's a pretty nice review, and it seems to cover off all aspects of the game. However, the review appears to be based off the Pocket PC version of this game, but there is a Smartphone version that is very similar. I've used this game a little in the past to help build my poker skills. I found that it was a very easy to use, and a pleasing interface to work with. In the long run, I don't know that my skills are any better or not. I'll have to wait and find out the next time I gather with my friends to play a little poker. :) If you like what you read, you can download the trial version, or purchase a license for $14.95 from our <a href="http://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=1390">affiliate store.</a>

Really? It installs and runs just fine on my C500. What error message are you getting?

Everytime I've tried the demo, it freezes. However, I just noted on that it's listed as compatible so I'll try it again. This does illustrate the problems with the mobile gaming industry. Developers have to port games to each platform and then to each handset. Costly...

After installing, it still doesn't work either when installing on the phone or memory card. It's too bad because I wanted to play...

Does your phone have any level of Application lock? I can't see this being a problem. I don't think this game would access any restricted part of the phone.

On the up side, it's got some problems. I don't know if these are features of the demo version or bugs. However, it doesn't remember your settings from one time to the next. It also seems to get confused if you change the settings in the wrong order. :(

All said, it's a nice game, but I wouldn't buy it without knowing that these issues are removed from the full version. :?
