Is there a way to set an actual page (local or http://) as the start page/home page in Internet Explorer on Smartphones? Coming from desktops and Pocket PCs, firing up Internet Explorer on my SMT5600 and getting the favorites is rather unintuitive, imo.

As it is, I made a small page with links to my favorite/most useful pages on it, dropped it in the My Documents folder and created a favorite from it, which I open up everytime I open Internet Explorer on my Smartphone. The ability to have that page open automatically would save four or five keypresses every time.

I haven't tried it but guessing that you can create a shortcut link (.LNK file) with IE as the target and in the command line argument you can pass the url to your file, which would be file:///storage card/xxxxxx. Something like that. :-)

Need to experiment. Have to take off now. Will try it later in the evening. ;-)

or just use a favorite shortcut as your IE shortcut
